Leading in the New Normal: Applying Lessons Learned to the Challenges Ahead
While there is no universal formula for a successful hybrid workforce model, most organizations admit that a permanent mix of in-office and remote workers may be the new corporate standard. The lessons learned over the past few years, as well as the demands of meeting critical business objectives will provide a foundation for creating a sustainable gameplan and establishing rules that will drive organizational and cultural change.

One of the biggest challenges, however, is recruiting, managing, and retaining talent as workplace dynamics shift to accommodate work/life integration in this emerging new reality. Among the issues IT leaders struggle with today are finding qualified technology talent, creating a journey map that best serves the professional goals of both the individual and the company, and maintaining external and internal talent pipelines that bring new people into the organization and provide training and upskilling options for current workers. The key to success often lies in effective communications, collaboration, and cooperation.

This 60-minute session, led by experienced CIO and executive coach Larry Bonfante, will focus on the topic of IT talent, and delve into a variety of challenges such as creating a successful talent pipeline, motivating individuals and teams to do their best, and establishing a healthy hybrid culture. Larry will outline the steps necessary to create a proactive hybrid playbook and explain the critical importance of developing a strategy that works today and is flexible enough for the demands of tomorrow.
