CEC Webinar | Creating, Managing and Maintaining a Cyber-Resilient Enterprise
Enterprises today face a wide variety of threats, primarily from cyber-attacks – ranging from data theft, denial of service, and ransomware intrusions - that can cripple a company's IT infrastructure and bring business operations to a standstill. Last year, nearly $350 million was paid to hackers and organized cybercrime groups for ransomware activities, according to the Institute for Security & Technology Ransomware Task Force. Companies today spend hundreds of billions of dollars on information security-related products and services that can mitigate but not entirely prevent malicious or unintentional system and data breaches.

This session will explore ways to increase an organization's ability to anticipate, withstand, and recover from adverse cyber events by using intuitive technology and employing resilience engineering principles. The discussion will also delve into the human aspects of cybersecurity defense by presenting ways to educate and motivate employees with best practice guidelines and establishing a frontline culture of resiliency. We will be joined by Sujan Turlapaty, SVP & CIO at Optiv and Sam Evans, Deputy CSO at Micron Technology.
